Why You'll Love Scrambler Mid II WP

Scrambler Mid II WP – An ultralight waterproof hiking boot

Ever have that feeling at the end of a wet hike where you can’t wait to kick off your soggy, heavy boots?

You’ll never feel that again when you wear the Scrambler Mid II WP. They’re not just waterproof – they’re so lightweight and breathable that you might forget to take them off.

“I really needed a waterproof barefoot hiking boot for wet or rainy hikes. These are exactly what I was looking for. They’re so light, grippy, and comfortable that they’re perfect for every hike.”

    – Mika H., Verified Scrambler Mid II WP Customer

Waterproof and planet positive, thanks to eVent® BIO technology, your feet will remain dry and comfortable no matter what the conditions.

    River, Rain, And Puddle Ready

This bio-based internal membrane is 100% waterproof while allowing moisture out. Made with highly-renewable plant-based materials,* this breathable, lightweight moisture-wicking membrane is tough but flexible.

We’ve paired it with our tight-weave abrasion-resistant, yet breathable mesh upper so you’ll have a truly dry & happy experience on all your adventures.

Like Wearing Mountain Bike Tires On Your Feet

Scrambler Mid II WP is a collaboration with Michelin, the car and bike tire company.

The thin Michelin fiberlite technology in the sole gives unparalleled strength, flexibility, and lightness. Plus, with mud-shedding lugs inspired by Michelin’s high-performance mountain bike tires, you feel the confidence that comes with incredible grip.

    Extra Protection With An “Illusion”

The Scrambler Mid II WP may appear to have a thick sole, leading you to assume that Xero Shoes has sold out.

Far from it. While the boot has a thin layer of our TrailFoam™ to provide extra comfort and protection on rough trails, the thick sole is an illusion created by our design team to make this look like a conventional hiking boot. You get the lightweight flexibility you’ve come to expect from Xero Shoes. Averaging just 12.2 oz per boot (men’s 9), a pair of the Scrambler Mid II WP weighs less than just one single boot from most other companies.

Like all our shoes, the Scrambler Mid II WP is made to give you season after season of outdoor fun and is covered by our 5,000-mile sole warranty.

Whether you take it for a day trip or a month-long thru-hike, the Scrambler Mid II WP is your perfect companion to Live Life Feet First!
