    Why You’ll Love the Genesis

    Genesis – It’s More Than a Sandal

The Genesis is more than a sandal, it’s the heart of Xero Shoes. Inspired by one of humanity’s earliest footwear designs, the Genesis is where the Xero Shoe journey began… and still defines it today.

Every detail embodies Xero Shoes’ purpose: empowering natural movement, honoring simplicity, and letting your feet do what they were meant to do. When you choose the Genesis, you’re not just buying a sandal; you’re stepping into the core vision of Xero Shoes – a commitment to living life feet first.

“I love them. The rope toe piece is very comfortable. I like the stretchy rope straps that make putting them on a snap.”

    Easy On/Off and Packable

The Genesis is all about effortless style. The pre-laced, adjustable system means they’re easy on/off. They’re also featherlight, and ultra-packable. Lay them flat, roll them up, or clip them to your bag – the perfect travel companion for everything from a day by the pool to an extended vacation.

    Natural Movement

The barefoot design of the Genesis lets your feet adjust and mold to the terrain, so you can move with confidence and agility. This is different from stiff-soled sandals that force you to move on top of the ground without really connecting to it.

In the Genesis you’ll enjoy all the benefits and comfort of natural movement without compromising on style.

    Genesis for Everything You Do

    Made to Last

The Genesis is made to last. It’s backed by our one-of-a-kind 5000-mile sole warranty, so you can count on enjoying these sandals for your warm weather adventures for a long time to come.

    So Lightweight

The Genesis feels so light, you might forget you have them on. A size 7 sandal weighs just 4.0oz (1134 g) each.

    Designed for Feet

Life-changing comfort comes from letting your feet do what’s natural. Feel what you’ve been missing when you enjoy the natural comfort, performance, and health of a barefoot sandal

    Care
